香港美食 – 吃煲仔飯還是要去:坤記
在添樂園吃過煲仔飯後,總覺得意猶未盡,自自然然想起坤記。不過遷居後坤記離家甚遠,唯有趁聖誕假期有空才去吃。
小卡說六時半到達應該不用訂位,店外果然不是太多人,入內一問,歐巴桑說不用等了,因為有太多訂座要處理!不是嘛,我們可是坐了四十五分鐘車專程來吃的喔!幸好歐巴桑說可以去新店那邊試試,這才知道原來坤記在德輔道西開了分店。
分店比舊店大了一倍有多,左邊鏡頭以外還有幾個廂座(卡位),一貫的平實裝修。櫃面上貼滿了一張張訂位單,不過這邊的歐巴桑則肯讓我們輪候。
等了二十分鐘左右終於可以入座,不過要搭檯,本來沒什麼大不了,只是我們打算吃豬骨鍋,但電磁爐卻在桌子的正中,那就有點別扭了;加上大家都在等吃煲仔飯(一開店進來的人全都點煲仔飯,店家一次過只能煲十個,不用等就怪),我們一坐下就有豬骨鍋吃,全桌人唯有嚥著口水看著我們吃,弄得我們也有點不好意思。
這天的湯少下了胡椒,加上不知為何沒有蘿蔔,吃來就好像缺少了什麼似的,比不上之前兩次。坤記的豬骨依然美味,骨膠豐富,加上件件都有軟滑的骨髓,在別的店未必吃到。
另外點了一碟肥牛,此牛一不是手切,二不夠肥美,吃來比較乾瘦,還是上次在金豪吃的牛頸脊出色得多。
把整個豬骨鍋解決掉,我們點的膶腸滑雞飯才弄好。歐巴桑聲明這天因為沒有活雞供應,所以用上冰鮮雞,難道平時真的用鮮活雞?店家依然用炭爐煮飯(其實是先用煤氣,最後才用炭爐),火力夠透,水份收得緊,上桌開蓋即吃,不用像其他店那樣要再焗一會。膶腸(鴨肝腸)及雞件的油滲進飯中,原來偏硬的飯吸了這些「養份」,吃來就爽而不乾,非常美味。此店用的膶腸頗高質,鴨肝加玫瑰露的香氣醉人;雞雖欠鮮味,但肉嫩皮爽,沒話可說了。吃到底把飯焦(鍋巴)挖出來,再把豬骨鍋的剩湯加入,浸軟了飯焦容易入口得多,加上精華所在的湯頭,是人間美味之一。
雖然豬骨鍋有點遜色,但為了這精彩的煲仔飯,再遠也值得來,不過下次一定要預先訂座。

I tried their hot pots several times when I lived in Western District 4 years ago. May be I should go again. BTW, for Shenzhen and Bangkok, I have some good restaurants in mind. In case you go there and wish to try, just let me know.

坤記值得專程去吃呀.
小臣怕上深圳,因一上去便有不安全感.曼谷有興趣呀!
I go to Bangkok once or twice a year. Personally, I think it’s more attractive than Japan in terms of food variety and price. I was there during Xmas 08. Every where looked safe except less tourists. Tried the following restaurants which are very good:
YOK YOR, dinner only, tel 662-437-1121, on the other side of Chaophraya river, opposite River City Mall which adjacent Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel. You could take taxi to pier N3 to take their free boat, or by BTS to Saphan Taksin station then walk to the main pier and take their free boat to the restaurant. Just call them in case no boat in sight. Seafood especially shrimp cake is excellent. All food & drinks are very reasonably priced. Better book river side seat and enjoy the evening/night river view. BTW, there are two YOK YOR. We tried the larger one opposite River City
THONKRUENG, tel 662-185-2871, 239 Soi Thonglor 13 Sukhumvit 55. Curry crab (more sweet than spicy), raw/cooked shrimp and fried noodle very good. Taxi or by BTS to Thonglor station and walk around 15 minutes. Sukhumvit soi 55 (also named soi Thonglor) is a very Japanese area. On your way, you would see many Japanese and some Korean shops and restaurants.
Greyhound, many branches, we tried the one inside Emporium Dept Store, tel 662-664-8663, seafood angel hair, chicken wing and iced tea very good. BTS Phrom Phong station.
Ma Be Ba Italian Restaurant, 662-253-9426, 93 Lung Suan Road, Phloenchit, Lumpinee. Better by taxi, or BTS Chitlom station walk 20 minutes. Call the restaurant to guide the taxi driver if don’t know the way. Tried lunch set, clam pasta very good and won ton above average. Very Italian decoration with paintings on wall and ceiling. Lunch set less than 400 Baht.
ALso tried some good street stalls but unable to name the exact locations. Hope you could try in your next BKK trip.

~完全同意,但硬係覺得喺舊鋪果邊座街邊食煲仔飯有風味好多~
對,煲仔飯同打邊爐一樣,要吹著寒風在街邊吃才有風味.
