音樂 – 說一首好歌（四）：Time After Time

 「Punk 女」Cyndi Lauper 在 1983 年出版的首張大碟《She’s So Unusal》中，第二首打上 Billboard No. 1 的單曲，便是這首＜Time After Time＞。

差不多三十年後重聽，仍是沒有過時落伍的感覺，這便是永恆金曲。簡單的鼓機配合電結他伴奏，只有少許音效，花巧不多，吸引人的是旋律。

這是原裝的 MV，一頭紅髮的她，在當時是時代尖端。

金曲的另一元素，是簡單動人的歌詞：

這首歌不知道給人翻唱過多少次，小臣最喜歡的是「Songbird」Eva Cassidy 的版本，一貫她的清爽風格，高音極之清脆。這是她現場演唱的版本。

的士高版本以 Paul Parker 的版本最有名，12″ Single 版玩得不錯。後來有人把 Cydni Lauper 的歌聲混進去，十分有趣，小臣把它上傳了，有興趣可以聽一下。

廿多年後 Cydni Lauper 自己再重唱，是 acoustic 的版本，收錄在《Body Acoustic》一碟。這是現場玩奏版本，洗盡鉛華的她再唱此曲，另有一番味道。
